Sicily is the biggest island within the Italian territories and it is located in the south part of Italy. The shape resembles the “foot” of what is considered booth shape of the country geographically speaking.
A place that over the centuries went through a lot of different domination starting from ancient Greece to Spain and finally being part of the Italy country after the XIX century. Placed at the center of Mediterranean Sea, it is a strategical point to control the area. This is why it is a mix of different cultures with many interesting places to visit.
The journey started from Palermo, moving along west, and south coastline. A must to visit region not only for photography but to enjoy great food and appreciate the historical monument since the Greece era.


Erice and Taormina are two unforgettable places to visit, even if so different between them. The first completely close to traffic it stand on the top of a hill and it is dominating the sea view. The second a fancy place close to the Etna volcano, where there is one of the best preserved Greece theatre still used for TV show, concerts and public activities.


In many places close to the sea, there is fabulous seascape scenery, in this journey the weather did not help much but there are a lot of potential there.
